I was born in Varese, Italy, on February, 9th 1983. I’m quit close to take a degree in Computer Science at the Università dell’Insubria (Uninsubria university) in Varese, Italy.

I started to have fun with computers when I was 9 years old, spending my free time playing with my Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Sega Master System II.

Then in 1994, when I was 11, they gave me a Commodore 64 as a present. At begin playing with it was a lot of fun, but waiting for datassette loading was terrible. So I started to “play” with the Commodore 64’s basic, borrowed a C64 Basic Book from the Library and started simple C64 programming.

In 1995 I owned a Commodore Amiga 500+, and in despite of that the game loading time was very shorter than on C64, my passion for computer programming raised and so I started programming in Amiga Basic. I think Amiga was the best home computer produced in the Eighties, and it should have deserved a better destiny.

I think that very few people of my age knows what a “GURU MEDITATION” is ;-)

In 1997 my parents bought me the first PC IBM 100% compatible. It carried a Pentium processor (180 Mhz clock frequency) with 16 MBytes of RAM and 2 GB of hard drive space.

I used it for studying and write first programs, first using QBasic, regretting Amiga Basic, which was very more powerful.

At the end of 1997 I went to the High School “Liceo Scientifico di Gavirate” and started playing with Turbo Pascal, which was metter of study according to the Nation Informatics Plan (PNI, Piano Nazionale d’Informatica). In these years I learned basic Pascal Programming at school, which I improved on my own.
At the same time I began learning Visual Basic 4 by myself.

In 2002 I wrote a my first “commercial” product: “Gestione Clienti Panificio” (trans. means Bakery Customer Manager).
It is a software written in Visual Basic 5, with the purpose to manage Customer’s orders and billing for a bakery. It is now at version 3.1, rewritten in Visual Basic 6 and still used.

In the same year I began studying Computer Science (course F52) at the Insubria University (Università degli studi dell’Insubria) in Varese, so I had to study many others Languages including Pascal, C, Java, PHP and others.

In 2005 I found a job as PHP programmer at 4mmg and learned deep PHP+MySQL programming and some Linux Server Administration.

In 2007 I started working for Sis s.r.l. and improved my PHP and MySQL knowledge, and worked also with PostgreSQL and Ajax technlogy.

My Goals are now to get my degree as soon as possible, improve my knowledge exteding it to Ruby, Visual C# and .NET languages and become a complete IT professional.

I am available and looking for jobs as a freelancer.
